Alex is a Luxembourg-resident independent director on many different investment strategies (UCITS, SIF, AIF, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Infrastructure Debt, Real Estate, RAIFs, SCSp GP set ups etc.) and has 30 years of experience of fund launches, project management, risk management, compliance and day to day fund operations. He’s been working with Luxembourg domiciled funds since January 2001. He is a highly seasoned professional with in-depth knowledge of ManCo’s, AIFMs, fund operations and governance. Alex is particularly familiar with the many service provider-related issues which face funds, including pricing, financials, yearend regulatory requirements, regulatory filings, ongoing due diligence reporting, regulatory inspections, fund accounting, investment compliance, and anti-money laundering issues.
Alex is an active member of ALFI and ILA and also a member of the American, British and Spanish Chambers of Commerce in Luxembourg. 
Alex became an official Independent Director in January 2020 offering mainly independent directorships and consultancy services based in Luxembourg.
Prior to joining fundNED Partners in January 2020 Alex worked for Carne Group offering independent directorships, conducting officer, MLRO and consultancy services since 2010. Prior to that Alex was a director at American Express Bank for 9 years based in New York and Luxembourg in charge of the compliance and risk oversight for a number of Luxembourg domiciled funds. Before he worked at American Express Bank Alex spent 4 years at Soros Fund Management in New York working on private and family funds for Mr. George Soros.
